Sambrumo Matayo Gad is a Kenyan by nationality, born in 1993 in Akobwait (CHA) village, Teso North Sub County. Sambrumo fought through his life by working extra hard in primary education that inspired the teachers, well-wishers and sponsors to support him accomplish his studies up to university level. He is presently enrolled in Master of Science in Agri-Enterprise Development at Egerton University (2017-2019).
Sambrumo’s purpose is to transform the society through agriculture by acquiring hands-on skills. Furthermore, he intends to go back and impose positive impact to the communities once he finishes his master’s studies. goal is to create an atmosphere that will enable him execute his Agri-enterprise skills in transforming the society.
Sambrumo is currently experiential learning through field visits at Mrs. Esther Wangari Kungu, a contracted farmer by Njoro canning Ltd to produce crops that are used as raw materials in manufacturing canned products. He has experience in sales and marketing, agronomic practices and agri-preneurship.
Other experiences are leadership, research and data management in research. He is eager to learn more than what he has learnt in class. In addition to the above attributes, Sambrumo has employed the youth at home thus improving their living standards and reducing poverty levels in the community.
