MSc. Agri-enterprise Development

Mr. John Atsu Agbolosoo was born on 26th July, 1990 to Mr. Livingstone Agbolosoo and Miss. Agnes Agbenuawor all of blessed memory at Vui-Keta in Volta Region of Ghana. He had his primary education at St. John A.M.E Zion Basic, Keta and later completed at St. Jones A.M.E Zion Basic School, Vui in 2007.

Due to his passion and zeal for agriculture in his earlier days; he decided to study Agricultural Science in one of the best Agriculture schools in the region; this school is well known to be the first Senior High School established in the region and for training students in agriculture and agribusiness activities. He took agriculture course in Zion College of West Africa (ZICO) from 2007 to 2011 where he majored in option Animal Science.

In 2012, he was enrolled in Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) to purse four years degree course in Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and completed in June, 2016 with Second Class Upper Division option Agricultural Economics and Farm Management.

He did his mandatory National Service at Council for Scientific and Industrial Research-Plant Genetic Resources Research Institute as Senior Technical for the period of 2016- 2017 where he was responsible for supervision and monitoring the activities of Commercialization Section.

He is currently pursing Master of Science in Agri-enterprise Development in Egerton University, Kenya. He aspires to become agri-entrepreneur in Ghana and Africa as a whole in next few years. In Kenya, he obtains experiential learning experience in Seed-potato value chain, pig production and business management skills.
